Overcoming the barriers to CNS repair is one of the most compelling challenges in neuroscience. My research in spinal cord injury regeneration has deepened my understanding of the barriers to axonal repair. Investigating new therapeutic strategies to overcome these challenges is central to my work.
Stem cells and biomaterials hold immense potential in regenerative medicine. My research has focused on developing bioengineered scaffolds to enhance neural regeneration, providing structural support and biochemical cues for neuronal repair.

I am a BS-MS student at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Berhampur, currently conducting my master's thesis research at the Lab of Axon Regeneration and Growth at CCMB Hyderabad. My research focuses on understanding the mechanisms underlying neural repair and axon regeneration, particularly in the context of spinal cord injury (SCI).
My journey into neuroscience was shaped by a deep curiosity about brain function, from cognitive processing to neurodevelopmental disorders. This passion has led me to explore human-specific neuronal models, synaptic plasticity, and the intricate interplay of genetics and environment in shaping neural circuits.
